In the 1500s when the spanish leader Hernan Cortes entered the Aztec region with a few of his men. The Aztec people misunderstood, as the thought they were sent by their God Quetzalcoatl. The Aztec's thought that it was the end of days and Quetzalcoatl had returned to them.

 

The Spanish  were extremely lucky to be a live as usually the Aztec's use to sacrificed everyone. They found the capital of the Aztyec's were a maize there was gold everywhere for trade (the trade markets had everything herbs, fruit, live stock and the famous cocoa bean ( chocolate). 

Cortes and his men stayed a very long time as guests to the emperor.

 

After a while the longer Cortes and his men stayed the more the Aztec people started to think they were not from their God Quetzalcoatl, they were not acting like gods. The Aztec emperor said enough is enough and it was time Cortes and his men needed to move on. The Spanish were scared for there lives and glad to move on.

 

Not to much longer after Cortes and his men moved on the war began Between the Spanish and the Aztecs, that was the beginning of the end for Aztec Civilization.
