There is on doubt that the aztec sacrif was one of the contributing factors to fall of the aztec empire. sacrifing thousands of people staring with there own people then there neighboure, can’t be healty for the aztec socety.

Aztec arn’t the first society to sacriy people, but the reason they sacrificed thousands of people, made it easy to be hated by surrounoing people. A powerfull city/state called tlaxcala was one of the surrounoing people that hated the aztec’s. After plenty of them were sacrificed, they joined with the spanish in a civl war that the spanish started against the aztec’s the reason why the spanish conquer the aztecs the completed, the spanish thoughy the aztecs had an evil culture.

The spanish leader Cortes, after Cortes landed in mexico anoter spanish army came from cuba to make sure he followed his orders from the higher bosses. Cortes would’nt have any oo that, and went to fight them. The spanish army from cuba had a fricans that were slaves, that had small dox  (which is avery contagious disease). One of cortes men contraeted smallpox once they returned they were overwhelemed by the aztec. The aztecs killing alot of the spanistl, then the rest reteated, and when the aztecs looted the dead spanish people. The one that contralted smallpox was one of the dead and the aztec that looted his body contracted the disase.

Smallpox quickly spread througout the aztec populotion. None of the aztec people had no idea how to treat the disease and had no resistance to it. In a lot of cases the whole family died from the disease so they jost demous ed the houses on top of them. It is beleved that 25% of hte aztec population died of the smallpox disease. Even the emperor cuitlahual and some of his army lead died of smallpox.

Cortes tactics played a role in the demise of the  aztec. ( The aztec belved he was a reterning god)  aztec were not use to the evropean type of war fare, but they wised up quickly on that type of war, but cortes used cleuer tactics in the final siege, combined with smallpox and accled natives brought the demise of the mighty aztec empier.
